Cosmetic dentistry is an elective procedure done to improve the look of the teeth, mouth, and the smile of a person. Although not essential, they are used to restore or improve someone’s looks and smile. Parts of the procedure include adjusting the teeth size, changing the teeth color, restoring teeth edges, and teeth realignment using a prosthesis. You can contact our local dentist serving Yardley if you require cosmetic dentistry.

There are four main methods in which cosmetic dentistry gets done. It depends on the condition of your teeth and the requirements. Here are the ways:

**Inlays and Onlays**

Inlays and Onlays get done to teeth with no structure for filling or those undergoing tooth decay. Also known as indirect fillings, it repairs a damaged tooth. An inlay applies to teeth whose cusp isn’t damaged and gets placed on the tooth surface. When the cusp is damaged, we do onlays at our local dentist serving Yardley. Inlays and Onlays are made from a resin material and attached to the teeth using adhesive dental cement. This process aims to support the teeth, prevent further decay, and restore their shape.

**Dental Veneers**

When you have crooked teeth, damaged or cracked tooth enamel, and noticeable gaps between two teeth, you require dental veneers fillers. Veneers are made from medical-grade ceramic and are customized to represent an individual’s natural teeth. Dental Veneers look realistic, and our local dentist can fix each of the front teeth using dental adhesive.

**Composite bonding**

Composite bonding gets done to repair decayed, discolored, or damaged teeth using materials that resemble the tooth enamel. Our local dentist drills out the decayed tooth and applies composite into the surface then mold it before curing it with intense heat. Also known as bonding, it gives out a healthy tooth appearance in its place. If you are suffering from tooth decay, cracked, or chipped teeth, this is one of the cheapest methods to restore your teeth.

**Teeth Whitening**

Teeth whitening or bleaching gets done at our local dentist serving Yardley. It involves changing the teeth’s color to white. There are several ways we do this depending on the cause. If it’s because of plaque, tartar, or other components, the teeth get cleaned to restore their natural appearance. The teeth can get bleached to produce exemplary results.

**Implants**

When you lose your teeth due to an accident or any other cause, teeth implants replace the lost tooth. Our dentist will insert a screw into the missing tooth to serve as the crown’s support then does the implant. When the bone and tissues fuse to the implant, they help create a permanent fix.

If you plan to have cosmetic dentistry, you can call our local dentist serving Yardley to fix your teeth. Our services will ensure everything gets sorted out depending on your need, leaving you with an improved look to your teeth and a better smile.
